There are no educational prerequisites for admissions. We ask that all students accept a high level of personal responsibility. You will be presented with information; it is up to you to participate, practice, and learn. We recommend that to get the most out of the process you are committed to your personal growth and willing to do whatever it takes to attain it.
Personal Growth – for those taking classes for personal growth all Introduction (I) and Going Deeper (II) programs are available and end of class evaluations of student are optional.
Mentor/Degree – those choosing to go on to become Metaphysical Mentors will take required courses as well as electives in Introduction (I), Going Deeper (II), and Mentoring Training & More Personal Growth (III) programs. Students will demonstrate both knowledge and proficiency with the material in order to use the class for required or elective credits.
Instructor – students who have become Mentors and choose to go on to share themselves by instructing will, in addition to the above learning, complete programs at the Instructors (IV) level and demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in these courses as well as have the opportunity to assist in some of the Introduction (I) programs.
Register by completing the form on the website, mailing or faxing it and paying a registration fee of $30 as well as the cost of the programs registered for. Registration fee is waived if all classes are paid in full at least 6 weeks before the semester begins.
10 week, hour and a half classes are $597,
10 week, one hour classes are $297,
6 week one hour classes are $197
per semester unless stated otherwise.
A student may cancel and request a full refund (minus registration and instructional materials fees) up to one week before the beginning of a class or program. The student may receive a 60% refund or full credit towards another class after attending up to 20% of the classes and no refund after that time. Learning and instructional materials are not returnable.
Most classes will be on the phone; however throughout the year there will be the opportunity to participate in person in classes, workshops, programs, retreats, and special events at the MMI Center as well as field trips. In person programs will be specified in the syllabus. Additional programs offered throughout the year will be announced in the Newsletter. It is recommended for maximum value that students take no more than 3 classes at one time.
Credits are computed as hours. One hour = one credit.
Any student who believes that their previous experience has given them a proficiency in a given area may request an evaluation ($100). Students that are evaluated as knowledgeable and proficient will be credited for the program they are evaluated for.
Students are considered full time who take 3 classes a semester.
In consideration for other students it is requested that all students show up on time and stay for the entire class. Students attending 80% or more of the classes will receive the most value and are eligible to receive credit for the class. Those missing in excess of 3 classes will be asked to leave the class without refund for the good of the group.
Study materials and class details such as bridge lines, syllabus, etc. will be sent after registration and payment has been received.
Those students choosing to be evaluated for a class will receive either a “K” for Knowledgeable or a “P” for Proficient. If the student is deemed neither knowledgeable nor proficient there will be no grade.
MMI sees each student as capable and responsible for their own learning experience. Those students who get the most out of the programs are those who are willing to do what ever it takes to grow and practice, practice, practice what they learn in their daily life.
MMI is an organization exploring and going beyond the outer edges of what is known. In your process of assimilating the information from the classes you will be challenged to stretch your paradigms and learn new ways of being and doing. If you find yourself judging or rigid about how things “should” be, it is a good idea to discuss the matter with a mentor or faculty advisor. Staying in how things “should” be will keep you at superficial levels and prevent you from experiencing the depths of the material you have the potential to experience. Listen with an open mind; decide for yourself, but only after you have fully heard.
Students agree they will not teach, instruct or Mentor using Metaphysical Mentoring methods or materials without permission from the Metaphysical Mentoring Institute, nor will they copy, reproduce, modify, transmit, sell or use any Metaphysical Mentoring material without prior written approval.
For highest value it is recommended that all students work with a mentor. Working with a mentor is required for those in the Mentoring and Instructor programs. A list of qualified mentors will be provided upon request. Student mentors are available at a reduced rate. For more information contact admin@metaphysicalmentoring.com .
MMI reserves the right to change the guidelines and requirements posted here at any time. This right includes but is not limited to evaluating students, adding or subtracting classes, changing instructors or adjusting fees.
